Nose: Oooo, we love a portwood finish! This smells like when you first open up a box of chocolates at Christmas; dark chocolate, caramel, peanuts, cranberries, and red currants. Almost some sort of cured meat note, too? I love it.
Palate: Slightly sweet on the front, red berries on the mid-palate with a lengthy, dark chocolate finish. Similar to the 14 YO, if you want to take some of that heat off, add a dribble of water to soften it out. Or leave it if you want to put some hair on your chest! ”
