Yealands Sauvignon Blanc (750ml)

Founded by the winery’s namesake Peter Yealands on August 8th, 2008, his goal was to become one of the world’s most sustainable wineries. Starting with their Seaview Vineyard, where the winery sits, this coastal plot utilizes all of the sun, wind, and even their own vines to create power used at the winery facility; 25% of their annual energy is produced this way. On top of this, Yealands Wine became the first winery to be Toitū carbon zero certified- a certification that measures the exact carbon footprint of their product lifecycle from “cradle to grave,” meaning that their dry good manufacturing, production, shipping and disposal of the empty bottle are all taken into account.

Yealands Wine is one of three brands under the Yealands Wine Group portfolio, the other two being Babydoll and The Crossings. Although Peter Yealands retired in 2018, the wineries still move to achieve goals centred around sustainability, land guardianship, and true-to-style wines from Marlborough.
