Tavel Rose is an excellent option for those looking for a little more oomph from their Rose. It offers more weight, structure, and texture than your typical Southern French Rose with a more prominent garrigue/scrub note, evocative of the brushland in the Mediterranean. Very suited to food pairing with all sorts of dishes (particularly lamb or other Mediterranean dishes), this wine blurs the line between a Rose and light red but with far more power than you might expect.
